Wusthof

El nombre Wusthof apareció por primera vez como fábrica en los registros del Ducado de Berg en 1814. Fue en ese año que el antepasado de la familia, Abraham Wusthof, fundó su "fábrica de artículos de acero fino", que ahora se conoce como Dreizackwerk. El negocio ha permanecido en la familia desde entonces. En la actualidad, Harald Wusthof y Viola Wusthof son la séptima generación de la familia en administrar Wusthof Dreizackwerk.

"La Dreizackwerk siempre ha resistido el reflujo y el flujo de la historia mundial", escribió Hugo Eduard Wusthof, nacido en 1894, en su reseña de los años 1912 a 1932.
